As a result of an illness, the former leader had been hospitalized earlier
It has been confirmed that General (retd) Pervez Musharraf has passed away. Pakistan’s consulate in Dubai confirmed that the former leader passed away on Sunday morning and that his family is being contacted.
As a result of a rare disease called amyloidosis, the former leader was hospitalized in Dubai.
Between 2001 and 2008, Musharraf served as Pakistan’s president. Founded in 2010, the All Pakistan Muslim League is the largest Muslim organization in the country.
He was admitted to American Hospital in Dubai in June last year, according to his family. Family members had posted on Twitter that the former president was undergoing a “difficult stage” in which recovery would be impossible and organs would be malfunctioning.
