Indian Union minister for housing and Urban Affairs says that completion of civil works of Indian Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai will be completed in March 2020.
BIE of India tweeted that the four-storey Indian pavilion would be situated within Expo 2020 Dubai’s opportunity district. In another tweet India’s Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Mr.Hardeep Singh Puri said that plans for the pavilion’s growth were discussed with the Indian government’s department of commerce as well.
Mr Puri said that the structural work would be finished soon but the civil works would finish by March 2020 and the entire pavilion with complete interiors and curation will be ready in August 2020.
The four-storey pavilion will exhibit the country’s strengths in alteration, innovation and the newly established business in the hi-tech sector.
Tenders of construction project for Expo 2020 Dubai’s Indian Pavilion is CPKA as a design architect with city Diamond contracting known as general, mechanical, electrical and plumbing contractors.
CPKA is one of the most admirable architectural company in India.
The design of Indian Pavilion shared by Dubai Media office and BIE shows the main building’s front covered by the fake looked leaves, ornamented with the Arabic and Hindi language names of India.
There is visible also is a statue of Mahatma Gandhi in the design of the Indian pavilion, a non-violence and a well-known Indian freedom fighter called as the father of the Nation of India. There is a separate structure partly similar to a sun dial.
National stock exchange – listed NBCC is supervising the development of the project of Indian Pavilion through its Dubai subsidiary, NBCC DWC.
The India pavilion will reflect the face of India rising on the three pillars of mobility, opportunity and sustainability, a country ready to lead the world hereafter.
The Indian minister of commerce and industry Piyush Goyal said the pavilion will symbolize the history and culture of India, the close relation between India and the UAE.
