Dubai unveils 2 new Expo 2020 landmarks one month before mega event

Millions of visitors are expected to attend the event, which runs from October 1, 2021, until March 31, 2022.

The UAE Vice-President visited the Expo 2020 Dubai site on Wednesday and unveiled two new landmarks. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, inspected the Expo 2020 Water Feature and the Garden in the Sky observation tower.

An “award-winning composer” composed the original theme for the Expo 2020 Water Feature, according to the Government of Dubai Media Office. With its earth, fire, and water features, it is very unique.

At a height of 55 metres, the Garden in the Sky observation tower will offer spectacular 360-degree views of Expo 2020 Dubai. The site features landmarks and pavilions representing 191 countries, many of which will have their own pavilions for the first time in the 170-year history of World Expos. The Expo 2020 Water Feature and the Garden in the Sky observation tower are both expected to be major attractions at Expo 2020 and will remain so even after the event has ended. He also visited the iconic Al Wasl Plaza, the Expo 2020 Leadership Pavilion, and Al Forsan Park.

Over one billion visitors are expected to attend the international event starting October 1, 2021, and ending March 31, 2022.
