Brazil Pavilion – Expo 2020 Dubai will be stimulating the amazon basin in the Dubai desert. Brazil pavilion’s Expo 2020 integrates water as its most noticeable feature. The pavilion will have a water element that visitors can roam around as they will feel sights, fragrances and sounds of Brazil’s riverside bank.

Brazil pavilion is showing its rich biodiversity and potential in reliable production so that the people who will visit there can explore more about Brazil. Brazil is the largest country in South America and Latin America both. It is the 6th largest country by area.

Brazilians are very passionate about football; they mostly refer to their country as football country. Its famous for great soccer stars like Ronaldo and Pele etc. Brazilian Fejioada is considered the national dish, it is a great delicious stew. The Brazilian culture is mostly Western culture.

Theme of Brazil pavilion ‘Together of Diversity’

Stimulating the Amazon basin in Dubai desert, Brazil Pavilion traverses the theme ‘Together of diversity’. Which is mean to explore Brazil’s wonderful diversity, from flora and fauna into art and culture.

The distinguished use of water throughout the Brazil pavilion is utilize as an icon for discussion point on sustainability. It features the waters of Brazil, the rivers and mangroves, place of birth of the richness of life, a natural heritage that highlights all conversation about sustainability in the world.

They present the pavilion as a great water plaza over which swings a grand solar cloud, welcoming its visitors and appreciating them to participate in Brazilian environmental journey.

Architect and design (JPG.ARQ, MMBB and Ben Avid)

The Brazil pavilion is designed by JPG.AQR, MMBB and Ben Avid architecture firms. It is protected by tensile shape 48 meters broad and 18.5 meters high; four vertical panels erect panels making up a shielding, an implosive therapy, safe by cables anchored to the water mirror.

During full day this structure covers and protects the waters, at sunset it makes the pavilion bright, floating cube. Plunged in projections, vapors, sounds and skillful aromas, this place forms the fragrance of the proposed museographer journey, whose theme is riverine waters of Brazil.

On the air conditioned first floor accessible by stairs and a huge capacity elevator, is a multi-tasking room for lectures, movies, debars and small events. A high intention screen is expected for presentations in medium light. From the hallway visitors can view of the water plaza below.

On the roof, un seen stuff, ae the fire water pond, air conditioning gadgets, like image light projectors, sprinklers for aromas and speakers. The ground floor is the primary space for visitors, and that approach becomes more confined the more we move away from it. The structural clarity creating it quick to construct and it is not requiring the kind of huge scale transportation that this exhibition might advise.

Finally, water as a central aspect of this Brazilian pavilion project with its relationships with long and profound association with the rivers, it becomes an important constructional material which support for the exhibition.

Visitors experience

Visitors who wants to enter the water in Brazil pavilion without wetting their feet will offer Golden boots, made up of famous in Venice, worn there at times of Aqua Alta. Enter in the pavilion and walks round it will be made in its dry spaces, where resources complementary to the exhibition are also discovered, like café, restaurant and shop.

They will have contained in a separate, alone, suspended capacity that extends over the water plaza, in the way of the houses on stilts found in northern areas of Brazil.
